Energy saving light bulbs are used throughout the resort.

Use of energy efficient bulbs (including LED) in the hotel and plan to use as many as possible to meet yearly goals.

Measure and monitor energy usage (electric, fuel and gas), and aim to reduce energy consumption.

Encourage all staff to save electricity e.g. to shut off office lights and personal computers during meal break, when attending training and/or leaving office more than 30 minutes.

All electronic devices are low consumption to reduce energy consumption.

Electricity is switched off in the vacant rooms and villas to limit the energy consumption

No air-conditioner in all rooms. All rooms have semi outdoor bathrooms.



We uses recycled water for watering the plants, grass and flowers to limit the use of clean water.

Water is provided for free in all of our rooms, display in stainless steel bottle that can refiil which also helps reduce the use of plastic.



We had minimized the amount of garbage produced. Composting and recycling are big solutions and stainless steel straws are used for drinks.

Separation of garbage into the following categories: food waste, paper, plastic, tin foil, etc.

Better planning to minimize waste of food, paper, plastic, etc. that is not re-used or recycled. Waste volume/weight and reduction goals are specified, recorded and monitored.

Organic waste is given to pig farms.

The hotel staffs are provided with training for how they can minimize waste in each of the hotels departments. Suppliers are encouraged to reduce their packaging and waste when sending their goods by bulk purchase orders.



  • We have Ashram Kasih Ganesha for children who like to learn Balinese dance, gambelan instrumental, making offering and all activities to continue the tradition.
  • Give donation to Village, School, Subak and farmer.
  • 95 % of our staff is come from Undisan villages. We train them in hospitality and give them English course and French language course for free.
  • If there’s any dinner with dance performance, we always collaborating with local village (dancer, sekaa gong)
  • The resort supports the local community and economy and therefore only works with local farmers and businesses. We are committed to giving back to the local community.



Organic and bio degradable cleaning and washing products are used throughout.

We are using low toxic environmentally friendly products for pest control.

We are using bio-degradable products and cleaning supplies in spa, laundry, stewarding and housekeeping.

Disposal of all corrosive materials (batteries, acid and oil) through authorized collection agencies.

The property is carefully maintained to ensure it is kept as green and natural as possible. This helps reduce pollution and creates a healthy environment for the guests as well as for the staff.

The swimming pool uses ionisation for water purification and minimizes chemicals use. To decrease pollution and noise, cars and motorbikes are parked at our garage far from resort.



We are composting and improving the soil and planting vegetable gardens in each house.

All the fresh fruits and vegetables available in the villa are supplied locally and as needed to reduce waste. We use the first in – first out (FIFO) system to ensure freshness and good stock management.

The kitchen uses organic vegetables and herbs from our gardens.



The natural land structure and local waterways were not altered, but rather respected and worked with the natural elements while protecting and preserving the environment around the resort.

The rooms offer natural ventilation and light with the availability of large glass windows. Curtains and blinds are set in the rooms and villas to reduce sun heat. The fence of every room in the villa is not made of concrete fence, but from a living tree fence.


Guest education

They are composting and improving the soil and planting vegetable gardens in each house and growing vegetables up the site’s stone walls.

Guests are asked to contribute to low consumption of resources. Guest can experience of Balinese daily life through fun workshops where you can learn things such as traditional dancing or kite making!

Invite guests to consider reusing bath towels and bed linen instead of changing every day. Therefore reducing water consumption, conserving electricity in laundering and reducing waste water treatment.
